ShadeTree Woodworks

I am a self-taught craftsman with a passion for
creativity driven by an intense vision of the innate
beauty of natural materials. My favorite woods are
Texas native woods; Mesquite, Pecan, Walnut, and
Oak. I frequently work with reclaimed or salvaged
materials that are given a new artistic and functional
life inspired by the woods themselves.

Wood is so precious and so threatened that it is a
true pleasure to use this natural medium to create
works that are visually stunning, functional, and will
provide lasting enjoyment for many lifetimes.

Simplicity of form, precise craftsmanship and
respect for natural materials are characteristic of
my work.
