Hand turned Silver Maple natural edge bowl.  The approximate dimensions are 5-3/4" diameter and 2- 1/2" deep from its taller edges.  This bowl has a rustic look and is food safe.  It is finished with Danish Oil (100% polymerized linseed oil with no chemicals, additives or metallic drying agents) and Carnauba Wax and has been buffed to a satin sheen.  I think this would make a wonderful little snack bowl, but it would be a beautiful display piece as well.
